“Wonderful, relaxing holiday.”

“This property is old! The parking is terrible, the spaces are very tight and there is ONE handicap for the whole hotel and it’s at the bottom of a incline, very unfriendly…as well the bathrooms have no grab bars and the bathtub is so high that getting in for an elderly person to shower is not safe. Our room was very small, no closet, had to ask for hangers to place on coat hooks. There is an elevator but also a lot of stairs within the hotel. I would not recommend…also pricey for the least...

“Our stay was top notch. The hotel has so much character and charm. The restaurants were excellent and the service top notch. “Our third floor room has been fully remodelled and was quite lovely specially the bathroom. Breakfast is available for a modest fee but there is some room for improvement there. The pool area is inside and lovely but was very hot and humid on a 30 degree day. Overall a good value for an overnight stay.”

“The hotel was neat and nicely furnished. It has a nice little coffee shop. It also has a busy bar with great service. Totally enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the lack of parking. There is plenty of on street parking but the City of Nelson has plenty of meters to take advantage of us lowly tourists.”
